Future Simple – Form

The future simple tense is formed using “will” or “shall” and the infinitive form of the main verb. Have a look at the examples below.

Affirmative:
I will go to the park with you.
(I‘ll go to the park with you.)
You will pass the exam.
(You‘ll pass the exam.)

Negative:
I will not go to the park with you.
(I won’t go to the park with you.)
You will not pass the exam.
(You won’t pass the exam.)

Question:
Will I go to the park?
Will you pass the exam?

Contractions with “will”:
I will = I’ll
We will = we’ll
You will = you’ll
He will = he’ll
She will = she’ll
They will = they’ll
Will not = won’t
