Objectives of the workshop
Improve language skills – workshop participants will have the opportunity to improve their language communication skills, which will enable them to communicate more effectively with other team members. Improving communication can help prevent misunderstandings and conflicts.
Develop assertiveness – during the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to express their needs and opinions in an assertive and effective way, which can help to resolve conflicts and prevent misunderstandings.
Positive relationship-building exercises – in the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills related to building positive relationships in a team, which can help to improve the working atmosphere and engage the team.
Maintain commitment – participants will have the opportunity to learn the language of motivating other team members, which can help to keep them committed to their work and team goals.

Methodology
We use a communicative and interactive approach in our workshops, with an emphasis on experiential learning (the so-called “learning by doing” approach) and peer2peer feedback. Our trainers lead activities and discussions that allow participants to practice their language skills in a supportive environment, receive valuable feedback and develop strategies for improvement.

Course content
- Virtual team communication – a discussion of the various tools and technologies that facilitate online communication in international teams and practical exercises for written and oral communication in English.
- Writing effective emails – a discussion of the principles of writing professional and effective emails in English, including appropriate format, language and style.
- Remote working – practical exercises in written and oral communication in English, such as virtual meetings, online presentations and other forms of communication.
- Communicating – practising written English communication skills using various instant messaging services such as Slack, WhatsApp and Skype for Business in international teams, using short, concise text messages.
- Effective project communication – practising written and oral communication skills in English in the context of planning, coordinating and implementing a project.
- Team problem solving – practising written and oral communication skills in English in the context of group problem solving.
- Business communication – practising written and oral communication skills in English with clients, business partners and other teams.
Presentations – practising written and oral communication skills in English in the context of preparing and delivering a presentation in front of different audiences. - Assertiveness in teamwork – practicing written and oral communication skills in English to express one’s opinion in an assertive but respectful manner to other team members.
