Course content
Interview skills: The course covers key interview skills such as communication, active listening and answering questions effectively. You will learn how to highlight your strengths and achievements, as well as how to address areas for development or gaps in your work experience, for example.
Industry vocabulary: You will be given a set of 100 key terms related to the area you are looking to work in e.g. IT / business / project management / finance etc. You will also improve your industry vocabulary during meetings with your trainer.
Cultural Awareness: The course will help you to understand cultural differences and the resulting different expectations of presentation during interviews—this is especially important if you are applying for a job abroad.
Role play: The course will provide opportunities to practice your interview skills through role play exercises and simulated interviews. You will receive feedback and guidance from the trainer on how to improve your statements.
Rehearsal interviews: The course will also include rehearsal interviews with your trainer to help you practice and improve your interview skills in a real-life setting. You will receive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Practice Resources: The course will provide you with additional resources and materials to support your learning, including online practice exercises, sample interview questions, and other resources to help you prepare for job interviews in English.
