The Native Speakers we employ:
- Are educated to degree level and hold CELTA, DELTA, and equivalent certificates.
- Represent different regions and speak with different accents (the USA, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malta, South Africa) and, in the case of courses in other languages, also Native Speakers of other languages, e.g. Spanish, German, Russian, French and others.
- Often have experience in international business and can share the know-how.
- Have at least several years of experience teaching adults.
- Have a passion for teaching.
A Native Speaker is someone who has acquired a language naturally from birth or very early childhood, making it their first language. They have learned the language through immersion and exposure in their home and community.
Conversations with a Native Speaker offer:
- Authentic interactions with native speakers.
- A boost of your language skills which comes naturally.
- Full immersion in a foreign language.
- A step or two out of your comfort zone—you don’t have the option of switching to your native language, so you immediately start thinking in English.
- Intensive training in the practical use of language skills.
- The opportunity to learn more about the customs and culture of English-speaking countries.
Who are conversations with a Native Speaker suitable for?
Recipients: Classes with a Native Speaker are recommended from B1 (intermediate) level upwards, and we especially recommend English with a Native Speaker for language users at B2 (upper intermediate), C1 (advanced), and C2 (proficiency) levels.
Conversation with a Native Speaker is for people who have mastered the English language to a communicative level, but… definitely do not want to stop there. If you want to quickly and effectively break down any language barriers and resistance that block you during conversations—conversations with a Native Speaker are just for you!
It is also an excellent way to effectively learn the language and achieve successive levels of proficiency, improve universal language skills and expand your vocabulary, expressions and phrases. Our students have conversations with Native Speakers both individually and in groups.
Learning English with a Native Speaker – the advantages
English lessons with a Native Speaker create conditions in which we open up to conversation in English in the most natural way possible. The need to communicate in English motivates you to use only this language, and thus to cope with any conversational situation.
Why choose Conversations with a Native Speaker
Conversations with a Native Speaker are an intensive way to learn English in practice. Here, we don’t focus solely on theory, we don’t wade through textbooks, and we definitely don’t take apart all the grammatical issues out there. The aim of an e-conversation with a Native Speaker is to show you that you really can speak English! Once you get acquainted with this discovery, we move on, towards new subject areas and new vocabulary.

Course content
English with a Native Speaker in Eklektika is much more than a conversation about the English weather. Of course, there are elements of small talk, but each lesson has a specific structure and purpose, and the course (including conversation) is based on a syllabus. This way you know what to expect and what the course plan is.
English lessons with a Native Speaker are structured in such a way that as much time as possible is devoted to what is most important – conversation. It is during casual or directed conversation, intuitively and often not consciously (but always effectively!) – that we learn to speak English, learn and remember new words and master further grammar issues.
We determine the detailed scope of the course and topics together with you based on your needs analysis.
