Target audience
Individuals at language level B1 and above who work in or manage international teams.
Objectives of the workshop
- Improve English language skills in the context of working in an international team.
- Learn vocabulary and phrases used in a business environment and working in an international team.
- Increase confidence in communicating with colleagues for whom English is a first or second language.
- Understand the business culture of the selected countries and the accepted modes of communication.
Skills you will develop
- Asking questions, giving answers, using idiomatic expressions and adapting communication style to professional and business contexts.
- Intercultural communication and cooperation, with particular emphasis on the effective use of English.
- Active listening and empathetic communication, while practising language use.
- Conflict and problem solving in an intercultural context, while practising language skills.
- Thinking critically and reflecting on personal prejudices and assumptions, while improving English language skills.
Class format:
The workshop will be conducted online by experienced language trainers who come from different countries and have experience working in international teams.
The classes are conducted in an interactive format, using a variety of tools such as:
- Multimedia presentations
- Pair discussions
- Group discussions
- Business games and scenarios
- Refresher exercises supported by AI
Meetings are held via Zoom.
Classes run 6:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. at weekends.
Recommended group size: up to 6 people.

4. Cultural differences in communication – how to recognise and deal with them? Overview of common cultural dimensions and their impact on workplace communication.
5. Intercultural challenges at work – business culture of English-speaking countries.
6. working with English-speaking internal customers – how to meet the demands?
7. Active listening and empathetic communication
– flexibility and adaptability of communication styles
– useful phrases to improve clarity of messages
8 Useful expressions to foster team building and appreciation of contributions. Effective and diplomatic feedback.
9 Conflict management – how to deal with conflicts in an international team? The language of effective communication in case of misunderstandings and conflicts.
10. Self-reflection and summary of the workshop – what next?
